About

I am Andy Eggers, director of ProxyDemocracy and PhD candidate in political science at Harvard. This blog is a place for me to share my thoughts on developing the ProxyDemocracy site, and on related technical or policy issues.

Proxy Democracy (main site) is a community and a set of tools for shareholders who want to produce positive changes in the companies they own.

I also blog about statistics in social science at this blog.

    Hello Andy,

what a great idea for an important issue! Active ownership should today more than ever also be lived by private investors. Your tool makes it so much more easy for those who are interested to make use of their voting power.
The decision to sign up took me about 1 second! All the best and lots and lots and lots of users!

    Hello Andy,

More than ever we need people like you to facilitate communication between shareholders and BODs.

I really wish it will succeed!
