I think you should be more clear that, given the overwhelming influence of management on board decisions, always voting against management has the effect of forcing management to be more careful with their proposals. It levels the playing field somewhat.

By not being more clear you undercut the loyalty and trust which you are otherwise earning by your efforts to promote democracy.</description>
